HAPPY BATIK DAY
10/02/2013
Hi, finally I'm here again at Jakarta. Spent so many times at hometown and had super slow internet connection so that I could not really update my blog with some pictures as usual. When I'm back to Jakarta, blogging seems weird to me, oh boy, I hate that kind of feeling. How could I feel weird everytime I open my blog, feels like I do not happy to make a blog post.
Tonight, I forced myself to write something on my blog, at least I have to make a simple blog post again, and yes it works. I hope this is such a start over for me, and I hope from now on I will always get the spirit like before. Beside that, I thought it is a good time to start over my blog because today is national batik day, and I would love to share about my outfit today.
Batik is a traditional fabric/ cloth made by certain wax and or dyeing technique. You can read more about batik here. There are so many kind of batik, because each area in Indonesia has different batik's pattern and meaning behind the patterns. The technique used to make batik also not only done through manual way, as far as I know there are also stamp technique and print technique. Like today, I wore printed batik I bought at Yogyakarta.
