One day before my examination held, the unity of Jambi college students had a fabulous idea to get more income for our organization, IMKJ (Ikatan Mahasiswa Keluarga Jambi). This organization made to accommodating all college students that domicile at Padang, West Sumatera. We collect in this adorable organization to share about everything, travelling, learning about everything, and so many others useful activities. This time, we made a stand at Andalas University Graduation day. We sold the special menu from Jambi City, Mpek-Mpek. And some of us, walked around the campus, being “pedagang asongan”. We sold snack, mineral water, chocolate, soft drink, peanuts, also balloon. Haha. And yeah,,, we got profit about Rp 100,000,- ( one hundred Rupiahs) only in a half day.
This day, I learned cooking Mpek-Mpek. Also learned about how to be a marketer (yeah, it is not easy, Buddy!!!). Even, I learned about how difficult being the real “pedagang asongan”. So many experiences I’ve got today, which of course, I will never get it from my lecturer. Thank you IMKJ!!!
